The biodiversity crisis

In 2017, World Wildlife Fund Canada published a report that pointed to a near 50% loss in biodiversity since 1970. The loss occurred despite the existence of progressive environmental laws at the federal and provincial levels. We will discuss our project that aims to understand how well biodiversity is protected by using birds as our study system.
