This workshop initiates our visitors to practical ways to develop a sustainable city. The presentors will feature a board game wherein participants will construct a city by using real information points related to Quebec City. Build your own neighbourhood and face challenges related to transportation, inundation, and governance.

Workshop on solar panels- build your own with a USB charger

Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Are you interested by solar panels and do you want to learn more? Would you like to learn something practical and end the day with a functional tool in your hands? Sign up for the workshop « Solar panels: construct your own USB charger ». At this workshop, you will learn the basics of solar panels and you will be able to construct a panel which charges electrical appliances thanks to a USB charger.

Plant wall workshop

Saturday at 3 p.m. and Sunday at noon

You want to build a plant wall but you don’t know where to start? At this workshop, you will learn everything you need to know about how to build a plant wall, whether it be indoors or outdoors. We will install a plant wall as a means of demonstration so that you will be able to watch all the steps and note all adaptations that might be required to have a beautiful living plant wall. Like all our workshops, this one is very practical and will provide you with sound information to be used in the near future.
