My name is Jessica Melançon and I am the founder of Dame-Nature Soap Factory. I have always liked cosmetics and I developed a passion for soaps and other natural handmade bath and body products while I was studying. Motivated by the desire to make a difference, one year after finishing school, I decided to open my own soap factory! Graduated in land planning and regional development, I am proud to contribute in my own way to the economic and sustainable development of the province of Quebec by using pesticide-free, natural and local ingredients. Moreover, I do my best to cut the trash pileup to the root at the Factory by making well thought-out packaging choices.
I am an artisan cutler. My parts are made from 100% recovered materials. I use subtraction techniques (not forged) of steel with abrasive tools. I concentrate my work on small kitchen knives, cheese knives and small personal knives.
