Our NPO organizes free pick-ups on land dedicated to deforestation during residential or commercial construction projects. The general population is invited to these gatherings to come and harvest native trees and plants before they are destroyed. During our pickings, expert biologists/foresters are present to help pickers identify their finds. We provide the material required for picking (shovels, wheelbarrows, jute and pots for packaging). Our mission is to save and enhance as many native trees and plants as possible, while educating the public about their use in their landscaping.
